Writing Matters produces an anthology of student work every year. Our covers are designed by the artist, Richard Friend (http://www.richandframers.com/) and each student in every class has at least one piece in the book. The launch of this year’s anthology is on Sunday 4^th December, 5pm at the Astor Theatre.

We choose not to ISBN our anthologies so that the stories in them are still eligible for most competitions. In 2015, Phil Welton’s story ‘Man on a Beach’ went on to be shortlisted for The Poised Pen’s Iron Man competition (http://thepoisedpen.co.uk/competitions).

The launch of the 2016 anthology will be held at the Astor Theatre in Deal on Sunday 4th December. There will be readings, nibbles and drinks in the Balcony Suite from 5pm.
